So glad that you like what you've found here :)

I have (almost) learned the lesson that I can't be so overly critical of myself regarding my occasional craving-induced craziness! The GOOD news is that when I keep my diet squeaky clean (which is really most of the time!), I don't have to worry about the cravings at all.

However, when I choose to re-introduce alcohol (usually red wine) or sugar on special occasions, I do it with the knowledge that it's GOING to be rough going for a few days while I put those cravings back to bed again ;)Christiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15395007526731840239noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-359142880861912885.post-65873368468148393382011-01-07T20:48:08.236-06:002011-01-07T20:48:08.236-06:00I just found your blog and I'm so happy I did....I just found your blog and I'm so happy I did.... I love your food blog in particular. I'm hoping somewhere there are recipes for some of those! But the best part has been this post. I love the image of you two running in circles!! And it makes me want to be less judgmental about my own cravings. Thank you.tomatohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11150304999360200787noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-359142880861912885.post-63532098278884931682010-12-31T14:13:00.443-06:002010-12-31T14:13:00.443-06:00Meghan - I'm flattered that you feel this post...Meghan - I'm flattered that you feel this post is "share-worthy" :) Are you planning to do another 30 days in January?

Mel - glad you liked it ;) And I think the visual food log is a great idea. I honestly didn't realize how often throughout the day that I graze on "a bite here or there". . . when I've got to pull out my phone, take a picture of it, and post it for the world to see, it really makes me cognicent of all of those "little bites"! I'm going to "indulge" just a little bit more at a NYE celebration tonight, but then first thing tomorrow I wil be kicking off the "Whole100". So hopefully by the time I meet you guys in Houston the sugar will be out of my system long enough that I will have returned to the land of the sane ;)

Lisa - That was some freaking GOOD CHEESECAKE girl (in such a bad way!) . . . I'm scared about what may go down tonight . . . LOL . . . . be gentle on my sweet tooth!

Lisa - This is Christie's Sweet Tooth - ignore that last sentance. I expect to see cookies, fudge, cupcakes, and Ice Cream when I arrive. Oh, and maybe a bit more of that cheescake too ;)Christiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15395007526731840239noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-359142880861912885.post-85886385260714821952010-12-31T10:05:11.888-06:002010-12-31T10:05:11.888-06:00This was absolutely hilarious...I can see it happe...This was absolutely hilarious...I can see it happening...wonder what I can make tonight LOL?lisa mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13241110907298315588noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-359142880861912885.post-22682739709029378922010-12-31T08:25:40.817-06:002010-12-31T08:25:40.817-06:00Dude. You've inspired me!

XO. I love. LOVE. LOOOOOOOOVE this blog post.

My Zumba instructor has put together a "Just Dance Jump Start 2011" community on facebook for any of the ladies to "like" and take on a Whole30 in January. Because I've done a Whole30 before (successfully I might add), and because I've done basically everything opposite Paleo for my "smart cheats" (I'm a terrible cheater) after my Whole30, I'm planning on providing daily insight into the world of Paleo for all of those ladies.

Your post will be post #1 on January 2nd. Seriously, my sugar demon and your sugar demon must have gone to the same grad school... and all of my fellow Zumba ladies will get a kick out of your post, and I'm sure it will be comforting to know that there are several people out there who struggle with the same stuff that they do. :)

So... thanks! :)Meghanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13171079763411034528noreply@blogger.com
